About Us

At Better Futures, we were founded with a clear purpose: to bridge the gap in support and education for young people. We believe every young person deserves access to real, honest and impactful guidance on the social issues that directly affect their lives and future opportunities.

We work alongside schools to deliver engaging and meaningful programmes that help students better understand complex and challenging topics. From knife crime, drugs and substance misuse, and racism, to supporting young people at risk of school exclusion. Our mission is to raise awareness, inspire positive decision making and empower students to make informed choices when faced with risky behaviours and difficult situations.

Our programmes are designed to equip young people with the knowledge, confidence, and resilience needed to build safer, brighter futures. Every session is delivered by experienced lived experts who bring authenticity, insight, and relatability to their work, and all facilitators are fully DBS cleared to ensure a safe and professional learning environment.
